Colleague (CRCCO)

This exam is suitable for intermediate-level players who may have passed the Service Playing exam, or who have had several years of organ study; it can serve as a stepping-stone towards the Associateship exam. The practical section of the exam includes organ repertoire, simple keyboard skills, and hymn playing; the written paper has questions on harmony, analysis, and organ literature. No prerequisites.

Fees
Complete diploma at one session - $150
One section of diploma only (including repeated exams) - $120

Dates
Examinations take place once a year in the spring. Registration opens on February 15, 2024, and applications must be submitted by April 1, 2024.

Written exams will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Practical exams are held during the last two weeks of May. Following the close of applications on April 1, the Board of Examiners will select Examination Centres for the current session according to the number of applicants and their locations. Candidates will be informed of the time and place of their examination. Candidates may be asked to travel to a nearby centre. In Toronto, practical exams will be held May 24 & 25, 2024.
