Join friends from the RCCO Toronto Centre and beyond for a fun evening of trivia on ZOOM! Favourite categories such as "Name that Piece" and "Identify the Organist" are back, along with new categories testing your knowledge of all things pipe organ-related, from hymn tunes to fairground organ facts!

Craig Humber - Recital
Friday, November 12, 8:00 pm
As pandemic restrictions continue to be lifted, we are pleased to be able to finally welcome Craig Humber, who was originally supposed to have visited Toronto in the fall of 2020. On Friday, November 12 at 8:00 pm, he present a program of works by Bach, Brahms, and Reger at St. Thomas’s Anglican Church, 383 Huron St. (just south of Bloor St. between St. George and Spadina).
Under current provincial requirements, in-person attendance requires pre-registration on Eventbrite at this link and proof of Covid vaccination is mandatory. The recital will also be livestreamed on YouTube. Admission is by donation. Further information is available from email@example.com or by calling 416-460-3489.

Craig Humber - Masterclass
A native of Newfoundland, Craig Humber is a graduate of Acadia University and pursued advanced organ studies in Leipzig and Lübeck, Germany, followed by postgraduate studies in Vienna, Austria. He has received prizes, scholarships, and study grants from numerous organizations, including the Royal Canadian College of Organists, the Godfrey Hewitt Memorial Fund, the Anglican Foundation (Fulford Trust), and the Canada Council. He has held a teaching position at the Franz Schubert Conservatory of Music in Vienna, and since 2017 has been organist at Vienna’s Votivkirche, where he curates the church’s four organs. Mr. Humber concertizes regularly, recently in Austria, Germany, Italy, and Spain. He was a featured performer at the RCCO Organ Festival in Halifax in 2019.

Barwell Piano Student Scholarship Program
Scholarships are available to PIANO Students of Grade 8 (RCM) or higher level who have a serious interest in the study of the organ. The deadline for applications is April 30th each year.
