JOB TITLE: Music Director

REPORTS TO: Incumbent

STATUS/WEEKLY HOURS: Part time – 14 hours per week

JOB SUMMARY

The Music Director provides leadership in the planning, delivery and evaluation of musical programming; including organ accompaniment, choral teaching, and training. All Saints has a 6-foot Heintzman Grand Piano and a 3- manual Pipe Organ with digital enhancements.

This position requires a love of music and a love for people of all ages and life circumstances. The position is vital to the growth of All Saints Whitby.

All Saints has two distinct musical offerings every Sunday.

  • A 9:30 Family Friendly Contemporary Service
  • An 11am Traditional Choral service with an 18 person well trained volunteer choir.

During the summer months there is one combined 10am service.

Hours: Flexible, 14 hours per week

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience, in line with 2026 RCCO guidelines.

Vacation: 4 weeks a year.
