Dr. Sarah Svendsen has performed across North America as well as abroad. She has played concerti with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, performed a solo concert in Toronto’s Roy Thompson Hall, and has recorded for the Canadian Broadcasting Company. Svendsen is also the co-creator/performer in the comedic organ duo “Organized Crime Duo”, which is well-known for its athletic, inspiring, and always silly stage performances. Sarah enjoys arranging classical as well as contemporary/pop music for both her organ duo as well as her solo repertoire. One of her favourite parts of this process is, of course, helping each pipe organ to bring out the best of an arrangement!

Svendsen is the Curriculum Design and Program Coordinator for the RCCO Summer Organ Academy. She holds both a Doctorate and a Bachelor’s degree in Organ Performance from the University of Toronto, as well as a Masters from the Yale School of Music and a Church Music Diploma from the Yale Institute of Sacred Music.
