Kevin Komisaruk is Professor of Organ Performance, Teaching Stream, at the University of Toronto, where he has been based since 2003. Deeply committed to fostering a diverse and joyful community of organ performance, composition, and scholarship in Canada, his teaching merges kinaesthetic learning, flow theory, improvisation, and technology with a view to developing artists that are healthy, powerful, imaginative, and knowledgeable. In addition to his studio at the Faculty of Music, he has developed curriculum in creative identity, palliative care, pedagogy, improvisation, and keyboard theory. He has performed throughout North America and Europe, and produced two solo discs on the ATMA label which received several international citations.
